City of Tomorrow


I really enjoyed working on this bg. Batman the Animated series was a huge inspiration for this one. I really love the overall look of that show. Might do more in the future.

Sorry about the anme thing its fixed lol, and yes I bought a cintiq last summer/ that town is pretty awesome, really good color choices the green and red could have been christmasy but you made it work!!

Interesting color choice. Looks like a graphic novel. I can definately imagine batman zipping through this pan. The design is great. It has an oriental feel to it but certainly original. The full moon doesn't seem to be casting much light. The green glow of the city below is a nice touch but the moon should be lighting the rooftops and maybe some of the foreground, no?

Anyhow, m'excited to see some of your style excercises.

Thanks the nice words everyone!

Maslow: Yeah now that I think about it, the rooftops might have need some more light. The FG I actually just wanted to do as a silhouette at first. I figured that the further back you go into the building the less light comes in, but I could see that it might not have been lit up enough.
